Overview
We are seeking a professional Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating various types of trucks and trailers for septic installations, septic pumping, and inspections.
The ideal candidate will have experience in truck driving, route management, and load handling, with a strong focus on safety and customer service. This position offers the opportunity to work with a reputable company committed to operational excellence and driver safety.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, dump trucks, and pump trucks.
- Manage driving routes and schedules to ensure timely service and deliveries.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns.
- Properly secure freight and equipment for transport while ensuring compliance with weight limits and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and vehicle inspections.
- Follow all federal, state, and company regulations related to commercial driving and transportation safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding schedules and scope of work.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Manual transmission experience required.
- Proven experience in truck driving.
- Familiarity with various truck types and trailers.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment.
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy loads when required.
- Must be able to lift weight overhead, dig, stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time.
- Strong communication skills for effective coordination with dispatchers and clients.
- Ability to work independently and self-manage.
- Must be able to locate septic tanks and septic systems.
- Willingness to be cross-trained in other departments.
- Willingness to obtain required certifications.
- Availability for potential night and weekend work.

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
