Hartford High School (VT) is seeking a passionate, dedicated High School Math and/or Business Teacher to join our educational community for the 2026-2027 school year.

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Secondary Education, Business or a related field.

Hold a valid Vermont Teaching license (7-12).

Have teaching experience in 3D Modeling, Engineering, Financial Literacy, and/or Sports Management

Able to partner with parents, guardians, and administration by maintaining accurate academic records and regularly communicating student progress;

Knowledgeable in adapting and implementing engaging lesson plans in alignment with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Math;

Able to utilize formative and summative assessments to monitor student growth and adjust instruction to meet diverse learning needs to include one-to-one and small group intervention;

Skilled in fostering a respectful, positive, and inclusive learning environment that responds to students' academic, social, and emotional needs;

Committed to working closely with department colleagues, special educators, and support staff to ensure student success.
