You will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment by monitoring premises, conducting patrols, and implementing security protocols. Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety across all areas
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties
- Perform loss prevention activities by observing for theft or vandalism and reporting suspicious behavior
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security checks to ensure accurate record-keeping
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred
- Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with loss prevention techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Familiarity with security protocols, emergency response procedures, and legal regulations governing security work
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and emergency responders
