PHYSICAL THERAPY AIDE

Position Summary
The Physical Therapy Aide assists Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants with patient flow, treatment-area preparation, cleaning, organization, and other non-clinical duties to help the clinic operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients throughout their visit.
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for therapy.
- Assist therapists with non-skilled tasks as directed.
- Clean and disinfect tables and equipment after each patient.
- Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with laundry, linens, and clinic supplies.
- Help maintain efficient patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Notify therapists when patients are ready or need assistance.
- Follow all HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with patients and staff.
- Report patient concerns, incidents, or equipment problems immediately.
- Complete assigned opening, closing, and daily clinic duties.
- Perform additional appropriate duties assigned by therapists or management.

- Remain productive throughout the scheduled shift.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Never independently provide skilled physical therapy or make clinical decisions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform routine physical tasks throughout the shift.
Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour
