Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently, ensuring timely seating for all guests.
- Provide menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Assist with phone etiquette by answering calls promptly and taking reservations as needed.
- Support serving staff during peak hours by assisting with guest needs.
Requirements
- Previous host/host or restaurant experience is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in food service or hospitality is desirable, including hotel experience if applicable.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
