Full Job Description:
We have an immediate opening for a highly skilled & motivated semi Local Class A Driver to join our team, that would like to work a day shift, no weekend delivery job.
Position Overview:
-
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor/trailer combination utilizing flat beds to deliver various stone slabs to customer locations. NO TARP
-
The ideal candidate shall have a clean MVR, be able to read and write in the English language proficiently, be professional in appearance, registered with the clearinghouse, and have a proven track record in delivering products in a safe & timely manner.

This a semi local delivery driving position that may require up to 2 one night - overnight trips per month
Job Details:
-
Drive and operate trucks delivering Stone Slabs safely to various destinations.

Perform pre-trip inspections and post trip inspections daily..

Adhere to company safety standards.

Follow all local, state, & federal traffic laws and regulations while driving.

Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure that all paperwork is complete and correct.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Report any accidents, violations, or mechanical issues to the appropriate parties.
-
This is a full-time, 40/hr per week position.
Requirements:
-
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial truck driver.

Clean driving record.

Strong knowledge of FMCSA guidlines
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
