Familiar Creature is looking for a PT year-round Server. Weekend availability is a must (includes Sundays).
Familiar Creature is a vibrant wine-focused restaurant inspired by the lively dining scenes of Montreal and Paris. With a menu of ingredient-driven dishes, cheeses, and charcuterie, Familiar Creature offers an energetic and approachable dining experience. Helmed by Michele Hunter, a 'Chopped' winner and former executive chef at Hamlet & Ghost. We are a small team of passionate and hard working individuals who have set our sites on creating memorable experiences for guests.
Hourly rate and paid out from a points-based tip pool.
Candidates must:
- Have at least 2 years of restaurant experience in the role, with at least 1 year experience in upscale dining, and desire to be in the role for 6 months minimum.
- Have a passion for Wine and be prepared to speak about your wine knowledge during the interview
- Be interested in learning and growing with the organization
- Be dependable. All Team Members are expected to report to work promptly as scheduled. A good attitude and adherence to performance standards are critical
- Be self-motivated. Desire for professional development and growth within the organization is valued
- Be cooperative. All Team Members are expected to work together with a spirit of cooperation and teamwork. Team members who cannot or do not cooperate with one another will not be tolerated
- Be flexible. All Team Members must understand that regularly scheduled assignments and procedures may be subject to change with adequate notice, and must be flexible and willing to work with those changes
- The ideal candidate must be open to constructive criticism, is always ready to work, and prioritizes cleanliness and timeliness
- Be able to communicate quickly and effectively
