Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Passenger Transport Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, while ensuring their comfort and security. Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help us deliver top-tier service that exceeds expectations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles in vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and transportation safety regulations
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, including wheelchair assistance
- Ensure passenger safety by following emergency response procedures, vehicle codes, and emergency stop protocols
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, report any issues promptly, and perform heavy lifting when necessary for vehicle maintenance or passenger assistance
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, and state/local commercial driving laws
- First aid certification (including CPR) and emergency response training for transportation safety
- Strong communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse communities
