Overview
We are seeking a skilled Stand-Up Reach Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and material handling equipment to ensure efficient movement of goods throughout the facility. This role is crucial for maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting shipping and receiving operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate stand-up reach forklifts to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine inspections on equipment to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and assist with order fulfillment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist in shipping and receiving tasks as needed, ensuring accurate documentation of all transactions.
Skills
- Recent proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with stand-up forklifts.
- Strong understanding of shipping and receiving processes, including inventory management.
- Ability to operate RF scanners for tracking inventory accurately.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse safety practices.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
