Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), working Monday through Saturday with 9-hour shifts each day. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and well-being
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Support medication administration under supervision and ensure proper documentation following HIPAA guidelines
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, including behavioral health management
- Use assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts and perform catheter care with aseptic technique to ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations
Skills
- Proven experience working as a CNA in settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support techniques
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges in behavioral health or memory care contexts
- Strong communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and coordinate seamlessly with healthcare teams
- Experience in caring for geriatric populations or those requiring post-acute or sub-acute care services
- Competence in infection control practices including aseptic technique and infectious disease care
