What You'll Do
As an Infusion Registered Nurse, you'll provide safe, compassionate infusion care to patients receiving biologic therapies for gastrointestinal conditions. Every day, you'll have the opportunity to educate, support, and advocate for patients while working closely with providers and your infusion team.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer IV biologic medications safely and accurately
- Assess, monitor, and care for patients before, during, and after infusion therapy
- Educate patients and families about medications, treatment expectations, and potential side effects
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to coordinate exceptional patient care
- Document patient care accurately and timely within the electronic medical record
- Monitor medication inventory and maintain accurate medication logs
- Ensure infusion supplies and equipment are stocked, maintained, and functioning properly
- Assist patients with manufacturer cost-support and biologic assistance programs
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on outstanding patient care

Qualifications
Required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current Colorado Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and IV therapy skills
Preferred
- Three or more years of infusion nursing experience
- Experience administering biologic medications
- Experience in gastroenterology or other specialty infusion services
