Job Title: HVAC Installation/Coordinator (Commercial Projects)

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and driven HVAC Installation/ Coordinator to support our commercial installation division in New York City. This role focuses on coordinating large-scale HVAC installation projects, ensuring timelines, materials, and communication between field teams, project managers, and clients are executed efficiently. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial HVAC or construction Installation and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and Install commercial HVAC installation projects from start to completion
- Setting up and installing sheet metal
- Read blueprints to ensure proper fabrication
- Work closely with project managers, foremen, and field technicians to ensure project timelines are met
- Track project progress, milestones, and deadlines, providing regular updates to boss, internal teams and clients
- Order and coordinate delivery of equipment and materials to job sites
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, submittals, and closeout packages
- Communicate with general contractors, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution
- Assist with job costing, budgeting, and tracking project expenses
- Ensure compliance with company standards, safety regulations, and project specifications
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced commercial construction environment
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience in HVAC installation, coordination, or project administration (commercial experience required)
- Strong understanding of HVAC installation processes and commercial construction workflows
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management or construction software is a plus (Field Wire)
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project schedules is highly preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working on large-scale commercial HVAC installation projects
- Familiarity with submittals, RFIs, and permitting processes
- Knowledge of job costing and budgeting principles
- Experience coordinating with general contractors and subcontractors
