DAYS: MONDAY-FRIDAY Please note that we are currently closed evenings and weekends.
We are looking for a versatile and reliable Cafe Team Member to join our team. This position is responsible for outstanding customer service, and preparing food, drinks, and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble food items following recipes and portion guidelines.
- Prep and prepare all food items while adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Greet and assist customers with orders and payments.
- Prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages to high standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries and making recommendations.
- Maintain a clean and organized cafe environment.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices.
Qualifications:
- Must possess exceptional communication skills.
- Must possess outstanding customer service skills.
- Previous cafe or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong multitasking ability in a fast-paced setting.
- Basic math and cash handling skills.
- Food Handler Certification, or the ability to obtain certification within the first thirty (30) days of employment
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, customer-facing role.
Job Title: Cafe Team Member
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No evenings)
Location: On-site – Milwaukie, Oregon
Pay: $16.80/hour + tips (average $5-6 extra per hour)
Job Type: Part-Time (20 hours or less)
