Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Operations and Support Specialist to assist with daily technology operations across the bank. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint support tools. This role requires strong communication, problem solving and technical skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provides support to all departments and branches on matters relating to technology resources, to include but not limited to computers, printers, phone system/mobile phones and on-line activities.
- Assist with administration and support of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID) and endpoint management tools.
- Assist with user account provisioning, access changes, and periodic access reviews.
- Troubleshoots technical system and network issues to resolution
- Manage and escalate help desk service tickets, acting as a liaison between internal users and managed service providers to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain computer hardware & software inventory
- Ensure accurate tracking of IT assets and lifecycle management.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining endpoint security, patching, and system updates.
- Support information security efforts through identification and escalation of vulnerabilities or incidents.
- Assist with IT audits and exams
- Assist in preparation of documentation required for regulatory audits and exams.
- Assist with disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Assist in maintaining disaster recovery documentation and participate in testing and documentation of results.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for issue resolution and support needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through technology and process improvements.
- Provide guidance and basic training to users while delivering excellent customer service.
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience
- Basic understanding of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, and endpoint support tools preferred
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, automation tools or AI-assisted workflows is a plus.
