American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position at a Level II Trauma Center, requiring block scheduling availability and experience with Ortho, Neuro, General, robotic (Xi/DV5), and Trauma cases.

Short-term acute care hospital setting with 379 staffed beds, designated as a Level II Trauma Center
-
Operating Room unit with a 1:1 patient ratio

Case experience required includes Orthopedic, Neurological, General, Xi/DV5 Robotic, and Trauma procedures

Day shift schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3x12-hour shifts)

Weekend shifts required: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday

Block scheduling is required for this position

No on-call requirements
-
No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be required to float between facilities within the state

Epic EMR experience required

Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience required

Demonstrated experience with Orthopedic, Neurological, General, Xi/DV5 Robotic, and Trauma surgical cases

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Former permanent employees of this health system must have a minimum 3-month gap before returning as a traveler, and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Solid navy blue scrubs are required for all licensed nursing personnel; print tops are not permitted

RTO is expected to be minimal for this position

Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem), including location and dates
