About Vita High School
Vita High School is an innovative nonprofit microschool in Phoenix, Arizona dedicated to preparing students for life through entrepreneurship, leadership development, real-world learning, and individualized education.
Our mission is to develop confident, capable young adults who will become Arizona's next generation of business owners, innovators, community leaders, and workforce professionals.
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you'll help businesses become part of that mission.
Position Summary
As a Community Engagement Specialist, you will identify, cultivate, and manage relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and philanthropic partners whose values align with Vita High School's mission.
Using qualified leads provided by Vita, along with opportunities you generate through your own professional network and community outreach, you'll educate prospective partners about the school's impact and present opportunities to support Vita through:
- Annual Corporate Sponsorships
- Direct Charitable Donations
- Arizona School Tuition Organization (STO) Tax Credit Contributions
- Community Partnership Programs
- Volunteer and Employee Engagement Opportunities
- In-Kind Donations and Business Partnerships
Your success will be measured by your ability to build lasting relationships that generate meaningful financial support for Vita High School.
What You'll Do
- Contact and qualify business leads provided by Vita High School.
- Develop new opportunities through networking, referrals, and personal business relationships.
- Schedule and conduct virtual and in-person partnership presentations.
- Present Vita High School's Community Impact Partnership Program to business owners, executives, and community leaders.
- Build trust and nurture prospective partners through the full sales cycle.
- Follow up consistently to move prospects toward sponsorship or donation commitments.
- Educate businesses on opportunities including Arizona STO tax-credit giving and direct nonprofit contributions.
- Maintain ongoing relationships with sponsors and community partners.
- Accurately track all activities, conversations, and follow-up tasks within the company's CRM system.
- Keep lead records current by updating disposition notes and opportunity status.
- Collaborate with Vita leadership and internal teams to coordinate outreach efforts and sponsorship initiatives.
- Participate in weekly sales coaching, team meetings, and ongoing professional development sessions.
- Represent Vita High School professionally at networking events, community meetings, and business functions.

Compensation100% Commission-Based Independent Contractor
This position offers uncapped earning potential with no income ceiling.
Representatives earn commissions based on the total sponsorship and donation revenue they secure.
Example Earnings:
- $5,000 Partnership = $500 Commission Paid
- $10,000 Partnership = $ 1000 Commission Paid
- $25,000 Partnership = $ 2500 Significant Commission
- $50,000+ Corporate Sponsor = $5000 High Commission Opportunity
The more partnerships you build, the more you earn.
Top performers actively leverage their own professional networks in addition to Vita-provided leads to maximize their income. While you manage these partnerships, enjoy building a residual commission as your list and network grows with annual or monthly commitments!
