Duties
- Maintain building interiors through painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and other handyman tasks to uphold aesthetic standards.
- Conduct plumbing system maintenance and repairs, including leak detection, pipe repairs, and fixture replacements.
- Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, schedule inspections, and document completed tasks efficiently.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents or management, providing excellent customer service while resolving issues swiftly.
- Inspect facilities regularly to identify potential hazards or maintenance needs related to facilities equipment or building interior components.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or property upkeep within residential or manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on skills in welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC system repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, technical manuals, CMMS software, and troubleshooting tools such as ohmmeters.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
- Experience with maintenance painting and general building interior upkeep.
- Supervising experience is preferred to coordinate team efforts on larger projects or during emergencies.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and customer interactions.
