JOB An incumbent to this position performs legal research with a limited degree of professional judgment. Direct supervision is received from an Assistant Corporation Counsel or a designee and services are rendered on a part-time basis. No supervisory duties are exercised. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Provides legal research and information upon matters pending in the Department of Law;
Prepares affidavits, briefs and other legal documents as needed;
Assists in all legal matters such as hearings, trials, suits, injunctions, etc, as may be required;
Performs legal tasks assigned by an attorney-at-law;
Studies legal texts;
Assists legal counsel in all matters;
Performs related duties as required;
