Operating Room Manager/Director

What You Will Be Doing
- Provide leadership and operational oversight of all perioperative services, including OR, pre-op, and PACU
- Ensure compliance with CMS, Joint Commission, AORN standards, and all regulatory requirements
- Lead staffing, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for surgical services
- Drive quality improvement, infection prevention, and patient safety initiatives
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and hospital leadership to ensure efficient surgical operations
- Develop, implement, and enforce clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate OR nursing and support staff, including hiring and performance management
- Analyze operational and clinical data to improve efficiency, outcomes, and patient satisfaction
- Participate in hospital committees and support strategic initiatives and organizational goals

- Strong perioperative leadership experience in a hospital setting
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary surgical teams and complex workflows
- Knowledge of CMS, AORN standards, and accreditation requirements
- Experience in staffing, budgeting, and operational management
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and staff development
Required Qualifications
- Current Texas RN license required
- BSN required; MSN or related master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 5 years of perioperative experience
- At least 3 years in supervisory or management role
