American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 NICU experience and active WA licensure for a night shift travel assignment in a NICU setting.

NICU unit within an acute care hospital setting
-
Level 3 NICU patient population
-
Patient ratios are acuity-based per campus standards
-
Night shift: 7p–7a, 3x12-hour shifts
-
Every other weekend required per CBA
-
Variable shift scheduling; manager works to maintain schedule consistency throughout the contract
-
Internal floating between departments within the facility is required — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
-
No on-call required
-
Block schedules not required
-
EMR: Epic (required)
-
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license required
-
Active Washington State RRT license required in hand at time of consideration
-
Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
-
Level 3 NICU experience required
-
Demonstrated competency with nitric oxide, jet ventilation, and oscillator ventilation required

BLS required (additional certifications as applicable)

Epic EMR experience required

Minimum 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

License required if applicable

First-time travelers are eligible for this position

Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and cannot reside within 50 miles of the facility

All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state

Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
