Kia of West Chester is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our accounting and administrative team. This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles, registrations, and sales documentation while ensuring all transactions are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with Pennsylvania requirements.
The ideal candidate has prior dealership title or automotive accounting experience, strong attention to detail, and experience with CVR or Vitu. CDK or similar dealership management system experience is also preferred.
Responsibilities
- Process new and used vehicle sales paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare, process, and submit vehicle titles and registration documents in accordance with Pennsylvania requirements.
- Verify deal jackets and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Process title and registration paperwork through PennDOT and other applicable agencies.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle titles, registrations, and related documentation.
- Monitor outstanding titles, registrations, and documentation to ensure timely completion.
- Reconcile title and registration records and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain accurate title, tag, and registration inventory.
- Coordinate with Sales, Finance, and Accounting to ensure smooth vehicle transactions.
- Process MV-1 filings, title transfers, duplicate titles, lien information, and related DMV documentation.
- Stay current on changes to Pennsylvania title and registration requirements.
- Assist with other accounting or administrative duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous automotive dealership title, registration, accounting, or office experience preferred.
- CVR or Vitu experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania title and registration procedures strongly preferred.
- CDK or another dealership management system experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive sales paperwork and vehicle transaction documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced dealership environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dealership team.
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
