Position Overview – TIG Welder
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team building custom stainless-steel equipment for the food processing industry. This is a hands-on fabrication role focused primarily on TIG welding (80–90%), with a mix of sheet metal work and general fabrication. You will work on custom builds - not repetitive production, giving you the opportunity to develop a wide range of skills.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components and assemblies
- Work with both sheet metal and heavier fabricated parts
- Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Grind, prep, and finish parts to food-grade quality standards
- Ensure proper fit-up and minimize distortion during welding
- Support general fabrication and assembly as needed
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience with TIG welding (stainless steel preferred)
- Background in sheet metal or general fabrication
- Ability to produce clean, consistent welds
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Reliable, team-oriented, and self-motivated
Relevant Experience (not required)
Candidates with experience in the following environments tend to succeed in this TIG Welder role:
- Sheet metal fabrication shops
- General fabrication or welding shops
- Stainless steel or food-grade equipment manufacturing
- HVAC, mechanical, or custom fabrication environments
