Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in nail care and cosmetology, providing exceptional services to our clients while ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nail services, educating clients on nail care, and contributing to the overall success of our salon.
Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, acrylics, gels, and nail art.
- Maintain sanitation standards by properly cleaning and disinfecting tools and workstations.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate nail care treatments.
- Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and products.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail design and techniques to provide innovative services.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Skills
- Proficient understanding of color theory as it relates to nail design.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment.
- Background in cosmetology with experience in nail care techniques.
- Familiarity with hair styling, hair threading, barbering, and body waxing is a plus.
- Ability to perform esthetic procedures such as dermabrasion and laser treatments is desirable.
- Retail math skills for effective inventory management and sales tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
