Attrition Mill Operator
Job Summary
The Attrition Mill Operator position is responsible for operation of the attrition mills and all supporting equipment, as well as packaging of finished products and working with packaging personnel. Duties include inspection, testing, and reporting. This position is also to ensure a safe, quality product is being produced.
Skills Required:

Responsibilities:
- Start-up and shut down of all attrition mill and support equipment, including pre-op inspections and procedures.
- Operation of the attrition mill and support equipment to produce finished products to desired customer specifications.
- Operation of the attrition mill equipment to run within specific in-house temperature and finished product moisture range.
- Ensure product testing procedures are being done correctly and efficiently.
- Complete required paperwork, production documentation, and proper labeling of finished products
- Test daily productions and make adjustments as needed to meet specific moisture and particle size requirements.
- Follow HACCP procedures Other Details:
Full-time position 12-hour shifts
$16 while in training
May include overtime
Must have reliable transportation.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience operating and maintaining attrition mills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment
