The University Locksmith will coordinate all work orders, preventative maintenance, and yearly rotation for the university locking hardware and access control systems. The Locksmith will coordinate the purchasing of all replacement hardware and maintenance items. In addition, the maintenance of all pertinent databases and computer based programs.
Position Duties

Maintain all university locking hardware and databases pertaining to the university master key system.

Coordinate all work orders, preventative maintenance, and yearly rotation for the university locking hardware and access control systems.

Coordinate the purchasing of all replacement hardware and maintenance items. In addition, the maintenance of all pertinent databases and computer based programs.
Performs other such duties as may be assigned from time to time.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, this position has been designated as a Campus Security Authority (CSA). CSAs are individuals at the University who, because of their function at the University, have an obligation under the Clery Act to notify the University of alleged Clery Crimes that are reported to them in good faith, or alleged Clery Crimes that they may personally witness. CSAs will be required to complete training with respect to the Clery Act and the responsibilities of a CSA.
Must work collaboratively with other campus Locksmith in both New York and Westchester.
Preferred Qualifications

At least two years of locksmithing experience.

A valid locksmithing license or be able to obtain one if necessary.
Work Hours
Monday through Friday work schedule while operating at 80% full-time position and OT as necessary.
