P/T Telehealth Psychiatrist
Schedule: Minimum of 14 hours a week
Compensation: 1099, to be determined by experience
Location: telehealth
Responsibilities:

The position is for a psychiatrist to provide psychiatric services for a 12-bed Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR).

Focuses on delivering high-quality, recovery-oriented psychiatric care to adults with serious mental illness in a structured residential setting.

The psychiatrist will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary treatment team to support stabilization, continuity of care, and long-term recovery.

Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications ensuring that treatment plans are effective and adjusted as needed

The psychiatrist will create individualized treatment plans that include medication management, psychotherapy, and other interventions.

The psychiatrist will maintain up to date medical records, ensuring compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and standards of care.

Maintain and monitor confidentiality of patients and their files; audit files to determine that all services provided are documented; review status of patients to verify that all treatment and therapeutic programs are completed.

Provide immediate psychiatric care in crisis situations, such as suicide attempts or acute psychiatric episodes, and work to prevent incidents through proactive mental health management

Endeavor to comply with the requirements of applicable regulations, laws, rules, procedures, policies, standards and/or contract.
Qualifications:

Psychiatrist is required to have an active and unrestricted licensed in PA.

2 years of inpatient experience (trauma experience required)

Board Certified or Eligible (within 1 year of residency completion) in Psychiatry

Valid and unrestricted DEA in PA.

Must be proficient in using Telemedicine technologies to treat patients remotely
