Concrete Grinding & Epoxy Flooring Installer
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Concrete Grinding & Epoxy Installer to prepare concrete surfaces and install high-quality epoxy flooring systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate has experience operating grinding equipment, preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and maintaining a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
- Grind and prepare concrete surfaces using industrial grinders and hand tools
- Repair cracks, joints, and damaged concrete before coating application
- Mix and apply epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane, and other floor coating systems
- Measure and mask work areas to ensure clean and accurate installation
- Operate floor grinders, vacuums, shot blasters, and related equipment
- Ensure proper coating thickness, texture, and finish quality
- Follow manufacturer specifications and safety procedures
- Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
- Load and unload materials and equipment at job sites
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends as needed
Requirements
- Experience with concrete grinding, polishing, or epoxy flooring preferred but not needed
- Ability to operate heavy-duty floor preparation equipment
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating application techniques
- Physically able to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Comfortable working in industrial and construction environments
- Valid driver’s license preferred
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
- Indoor and outdoor construction environments
- Exposure to dust, chemicals, and loud equipment
- Frequent bending, kneeling, lifting, and standing
