Responsibilities
- Prepare a variety of baked goods and sandwiches following established recipes and standards.
- Assemble a diverse menu of sandwiches, wraps, and salads with precision and creativity to meet customer preferences.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, slicers, and food processors.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace by adhering to food safety protocols and sanitation standards throughout your shift.
- Package baked items and prepared foods for retail display or catering orders with care to ensure freshness and presentation.
- Assist in food production during peak hours by managing high-volume baking and sandwich assembly tasks.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers positively, taking orders accurately, and addressing special requests or dietary needs.
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, baking, pastry making, or culinary roles within the food industry.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in operating various kitchen equipment safely.
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and adherence to health regulations.
- Ability to follow recipes precisely while maintaining consistency in baked goods and sandwiches.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients accurately and managing inventory levels.
- Prior experience in catering or high-volume production environments is preferred but not mandatory.
