SUMMARY:
The Tool Crib Attendant will be responsible for managing the tool inventory at our Brownsville, Texas facility.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Maintain tool inventory records

Order new tools as needed
-
Distribute tools to employees
- Collect tools at the end of the workday

Inspect tools for damage or wear and tear

Maintain tool crib cleanliness and organization
-
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Prior experience in tool management preferred

Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
-
Ability to lift heavy objects
-
Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Familiarity with inventory tracking software
EDUCATION:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-
Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
-
Prolonged periods standing and walking.
-
Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, kneel, squat, twist and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.

Must be able to visually inspect machines.
