Senior Investment Advisor — Private Wealth & Fiduciary Portfolios
Atlanta, GA Area — $150K–$165K Base + Bonus + Benefits
A growing wealth management organization is seeking a senior investment professional to support complex private client, fiduciary, and investment management relationships in the Atlanta area.
This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys the client-facing and fiduciary side of investment management — portfolio oversight, investment policy alignment, risk and performance review, advisor partnership, and clear client communication — without being in a heavily sales-production role or a pure security-selection seat.
The role offers the opportunity to work with sophisticated clients, internal advisors, trust professionals, and investment leadership while helping ensure portfolios remain aligned with client goals, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, fiduciary standards, and the firm’s investment framework.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve as a senior investment resource for complex private client, fiduciary, trust, and investment management relationships
- Partner with internal advisors, trust professionals, clients, and investment leadership
- Review and monitor portfolio positioning, risk, performance, liquidity needs, cash flow needs, and account objectives
- Help ensure portfolios remain aligned with client goals, investment policy, fiduciary responsibilities, and firm investment guidance
- Discuss portfolio strategy, market conditions, investment recommendations, and performance in clear, practical language
- Support client and advisor conversations involving complex wealth, trust, and investment management needs
- Identify portfolio or account issues early and work with internal partners to develop appropriate solutions
- Provide investment guidance and oversight within an established investment process and framework
- Support due diligence, manager review, investment policy alignment, and ongoing portfolio monitoring
- Act as a trusted internal partner across investment, advisory, trust, compliance, tax, legal, and operations teams as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 10+ years of investment management, private wealth, private banking, fiduciary investment, trust investment, or client portfolio management experience
- Experience supporting HNW/UHNW, private client, trust, fiduciary, agency, IRA, IMA, foundation, endowment, family office, or similar relationships
- Comfortable working with advisors, trust professionals, clients, investment committees, attorneys, tax partners, or fiduciary administrators
- Strong understanding of asset allocation, investment policy, portfolio review, risk management, performance review, liquidity needs, and client objectives
- Ability to explain investment topics clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong judgment, attention to detail, follow-through, and ability to manage complex relationships independently
- Experience working within an established investment platform, model framework, investment committee structure, or fiduciary process
- Experience with portfolio management, investment reporting, CRM, compliance, trust accounting, or related financial systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred
- CFA, CFP, CTFA, CIMA, or similar credentials are a plus
