Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NETWORK ENGINEER with TS FS POLY clearance to join our team. You will be using the latest technologies and tools to design, implement, and maintain complex network systems that support critical operations. Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and optimize large-scale network architectures including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and data center environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki devices, and Juniper equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage and support network security protocols including Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine), PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), and firewall configurations.
- Implement routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and IPsec VPNs to establish secure and reliable connectivity across multiple sites.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, system troubleshooting, and equipment diagnostics to maintain high availability and security standards.
- Support cloud security initiatives involving AWS, Azure, virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere, and containerization technologies.
- Perform system administration tasks on various operating systems including Windows, Linux distributions like Debian, CentOS, Ubuntu, openSUSE, Solaris, BSD variants, and macOS.
- Demonstrated experience with global network integration and network operations, and cloud data center data center environments.
- Experience in managing and evolving organizational business flows, and evolving customer information systems to meet emerging mission need.
- Develop scripts using Bash, PowerShell, Python or other scripting languages to automate routine network management tasks.
- Monitor network performance using tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG; analyze logs via Splunk; manage remote access software; and ensure compliance with ITIL best practices.
- Skills
- Extensive knowledge of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP stack, DNS, DHCP, NAT (Network Address Translation), load balancing, QoS (Quality of Service), and high availability architectures.
- Proficiency with Cisco networking equipment such as routers (Cisco routers), switches (Ethernet switching), ASA firewalls, Meraki devices; experience with Juniper hardware is a plus.
- Strong understanding of network security principles including encryption protocols (SSL/TLS), SSO (Single Sign-On), LDAP integration, vulnerability assessment tools, and open-source security solutions.
- Experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments across data centers and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
- Ability to troubleshoot advanced network issues involving routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), VPN configuration (IPsec VPNs), firewall rules, load balancers, and network hardware failures.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices such as Ansible automation scripts for configuration management; scripting skills in Bash or Python are highly desirable.
- Knowledge of telecommunication systems including VoIP solutions and SIP protocols; experience with remote access tools for secure connectivity.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document system configurations and troubleshooting procedures; experience working within Agile development cycles is advantageous.

Pay: $180,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
