Entry-Level Marijuana Cultivation Technician for Green Degree

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Entry-Level Cultivation Technician to join our Green Degree cultivation team. This position is ideal for individuals interested in learning the cannabis industry and gaining hands-on experience in plant care and cultivation operations. The Cultivation Technician will assist with daily grow operations, maintain plant health, and support compliance with all state regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planting, transplanting, watering, and harvesting cannabis plants
- Monitor plant health and report any signs of pests, disease, or nutrient deficiencies
- Perform pruning, trimming, defoliation, and other plant maintenance tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of cultivation rooms and work areas
- Follow cultivation schedules and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Record and track plant data accurately
- Assist with inventory management and waste disposal procedures
- Adhere to all workplace safety standards and state cannabis regulations
- Support post-harvest activities as needed
QualificationsRequired
- *Must have Marijuana Handlers Card prior to interview process*
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass any required state background checks
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Must be able to work independently
Preferred
- Experience working with plants, agriculture, gardening, landscaping, or greenhouse operations
- Previous cannabis industry experience (not required)
- Knowledge of basic plant biology and cultivation techniques
