Position Summary: Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy. Maintains records of quantity, type, value of material, parts and supplies for the division.
Position Responsibilities:

Monitors and controls inventory.

Monitors and maintains item classification and reorder whether it is purchasing or manufacturing.

Maintains product identification of parts and bin locations.

Tracking and reporting to maintain minimum and maximum levels and adjust pricing when necessary.

Handles paperwork such as inventory transfers, supply orders and raw material orders.

Ensures that the raw material data sheets are placed in every job folder.

Accurately maintains computer records of all goods received and transferred out made on a daily basis. Gives inventory reports to Inventory Analyst when needed.

Conducts a complete physical inventory semi-annually to verify accuracy of computer records.

Pull parts for and updates job cards.
Processing Responsibilities:
-
Check in all incoming parts and packages and set up outgoing parts and packages.
-
Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

Prepares list of obsolete items and recommends survey of defective or unusable items.

Completes all end of day batch reports.

Develops and adheres to regular cycle count schedule to ensure daily accuracy numbers.

Ensures compliance to access SOW’s for bin and bunfoot stocking areas.

Works with PD, IT, and procurement to escale the issues that drive inaccuracy.

Works with Frame plant manager to address escale to process/people’s issues causing inaccuracy.

Maintains work area and equipment in clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety measures.

Wear required safety glasses and work shoes; works safely and reports unsafe conditions to Dept. Supervisor.

Performs other duties as required by supervisor.
Purchasing classifications:
-
Purchases inventory as needed when a “low” point is reached. Establishes and maintains good working relationships with purchasing and vendors. Tries to establish a minimum of two sources for frequently purchased items in conjunction with purchasing and vendors.

Participates with Procurement and purchasing teams in determining purchase requirements for blanket orders.
Essential Skills and Experience:
-
English required for reading tickets and instructions.
-
One year certificate from college or technical school; or 2-3 years inventory control or related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Microsoft Office, Excel, and email experience or equivalent.
-
Business management experience.

Strong Organizational skills
Physical demands and work environment:
Lift / Carry: Frequently lifting 35 – 50 lbs. onto and off work station; occasionally lifting in excess of 50 lbs.; team lift greater weights.-
Standing / Walking: Must be able to stand and walk consistently during the 8+ hour day.
Reach / Handle / Grasp: Repetitive use of hands required. Must be able to grasp, extend and place plywood onto and off CNC machine throughout shift.-
Bend / Lift / Stoop: Gathering supplies throughout day from various heights, bending, stooping, climbing.

Environment: Indoors, controlled airflow, depending on building may or may not be air conditioned.

Near Acuity: Requires close vision of less than 3 feet, with or without corrective lenses, for precision.
