Dental Hygienist Position: Possibly The Coolest Part/Full Time Job Ever
Our small family-owned private practice is on Grove Avenue just before the Museum District of Richmond. We are biased, but we are pretty sure we are the most enjoyable place to work. Dr. Londrey has been in practice for over 38 years and he genuinely loves his patients. Dr. Londrey's son, Dr. Jed Londrey has also just joined our team as a dentist and with our practice growing, we are adding a hygienist to keep up. Our team doesn't turn over; we are just growing. We really believe that we are changing more than people's smiles. Honestly, the job is not all roses and puppy dogs. There is some good news and there is some not so good news.
Let’s get the not so good news out of the way first:
Some people have yucky oral hygiene. It may not have been your dream as a little kid to be scaling endless amounts of calculus off an 80-year old’s lower central incisors. You will likely not get rich on the job. So, if you are looking to buy a mansion in the Hamptons this is no longer the “coolest” job ever, but both Dr. Londreys are wonderful dentists to work with!
Now let’s talk about the good stuff:
1. We are that small family-owned private practice where the environment does not harp on production but rather harps on employee and patient happiness and satisfaction.
2. The office is open from 7:30 to 4:30 Monday through Thursday.

Now, let’s talk about the job requirements:
1. You will need to be a registered dental hygienist.
2. You will be speaking a lot. So, you need to enjoy talking with people and telling/sharing stories.
