Job Summary
Join our cafe where you can thrive on creating relationships with regular customers, create the perfect smoothie, juice or coffee drink. We are looking to hire 1-2 persons who love customer service, food and beverage and can potentially become long term partners!
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items while adhering to food safety standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Operate Square POS systems efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of goods
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment that fosters teamwork and enthusiasm.
Requirements
- Previous barista, cafe/restaurant and/ or smoothie shop experience
- Familiarity with Square POS is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy café setting.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations within the food industry.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
