River Birch Counseling is a well established, growing mental health counseling agency seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a vital member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in providing outpatient mental health counseling services to our diverse clientele.
Overview:
At River Birch Counseling, we are committed to offering high-quality mental health services to individuals, couples and families. All of our therapists are independent contractors, allowing you the freedom to grow your own practice within the River Birch structure. This allows you the ability to set your own hours, choose your client population, and set rates. We are primarily insurance based and offer a competitive reimbursement split, allowing motivated individuals to receive up to 90% of collected revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
- Provide individual and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices
- Implement crisis intervention strategies when necessary to ensure client safety
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Experience:
- Previous experience in mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient or hospital setting
- Proficiency in coding and documentation related to mental health services
- Ability to conduct individual and family counseling sessions effectively
