Join the culinary team at Babcock Ranch, the first solar-powered town being developed in the United States! We are actively hiring experienced Cooks, Line Cooks, and Prep Cooks for both part-time and full-time positions.
In this role, you will work closely under the guidelines of the Kitchen Manager to prep and cook high-quality food, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our community.

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Measure, wash, peel, cut, and portion meats and ingredients according to exact specifications.
- Carefully follow recipes to prepare and cook various menu items.
- Monitor ingredient quantities, track stock levels, and alert the Kitchen Manager when supplies or tools need attention.
- Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, and stations. Comply with all local health regulations.
- Strictly monitor food cooking temperatures and cooling room environments.
- Assist with clearing plates, dishwashing, and maintaining general kitchen cleanliness.
- Maintain regular, reliable in-person attendance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience: 2 (+/-) years of prior food and beverage experience preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working as a cook, line cook, or prep cook.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; formal culinary training is desirable.
- Presentable appearance, excellent personal hygiene, and professional workplace behavior.
- Must be flexible to work shifts across days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to Commute/Relocate:
- Punta Gorda, FL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required).
