Modern staffing is recruiting for a detail-oriented Deburring Technician to work at a precision tool & die fabrication company located in Seguin, TX:
JOB SUMMARY:
Debur and finish metal materials and components using a variety of tools to meet quality and safety standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deburring: Safely remove sharp edges, burrs, and excess material from machined or cut metal parts using hand tools, grinders, and automated equipment.
Finishing: Polish, sand, and smooth surfaces to meet precise production standards and customer specifications.
Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces for defects and ensure they are ready for the next stage of assembly or shipping.
Department Support: Assist the broader fabrication team by maintaining a clean work area, organizing parts, and helping with general shop duties.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is preferred.
Skills: Ability to safely use power tools (grinders, sanders, die grinders) and read basic blueprints or schematics.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
SHIFTS AVAILABLE:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday - Friday
- 6:00am - 2:30pm

Pay: $14.00 - $18.50 per hour
