Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Office Nurse / Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This vital role combines front desk responsibilities with clinical duties, ensuring smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional patient care. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing appointment scheduling and check-in procedures.
- Assist providers with medication refills and pharmacy coordination
- Assist in Medication Prior Authorization processes and lab Tracking
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring all medical documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and nursing policy standards.
- Manage incoming calls, respond to inquiries professionally, and coordinate referrals or follow-up appointments efficiently.
- Triage patient calls / messages and provide accurate information to the provider in a timely manner.
- Qualifications
- 1. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Assistant with STRONG Behavioral Health Experience will be considered
- 2. Efficiency with EHR Systems
- 3. Ability to demonstrate and maintain STRICT confidentiality and emotionalboundaries
- 4. Strong organizational skills and confidence in balancing clinical and administrativeduties.
