Chippewa Valley Foundations in is looking for wall laborers for the upcoming season. We have been in the poured wall & flatwork business since 1991. We typically close down for all or part of the winter months and therefore pay Unemployment Insurance. Work starts at 7 am most days, but occasionally will start earlier. We provide transportation to/from the job site; most tools are also provided. Most of our projects are local, but occasionally you will be required to do a night or two out of town. We average 40-50 hours, 5 days per week with an occasional Saturday. We do not work Holidays.
Qualifications:
Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
Must be able to lift 50 to 100 lbs.Candidates must be physically capable of completing various tasks associated with pouring and finishing concrete flat work and walls.
A strong work ethic
Must have good character and attitude; the type of person that people enjoy being around, work with and like to follow.
Local work -- majority of jobs within 40 miles of Eau Claire
Mostly residential with some commercial work consisting mostly pouring 4', 8' 10' 12' walls.
Retirement plan with a percentage match.
Starting wage very competitive and based on experience and willingness to learn/work. CDL is big plus.
Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
