Our team is expanding and currently searching for a skilled Industrial Vision Controls Engineer to assist with sophisticated motion control and automation initiatives. You will work in a dynamic engineering setting, focusing on the integration of machine vision, PLC programming, electrical design, and advanced servo systems for automated machinery.
Role Summary
We are looking for a practical Controls Engineer who thrives on managing projects from initial design to final commissioning. Your work will involve programming, system integration, and the optimization of automation technologies within material handling and manufacturing sectors.
The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in full-scale PLC programming, vision system integration, and the commissioning of automated equipment. Because our engineering team is agile, you must be prepared to handle diverse responsibilities across various controls and integration tasks.
Core Responsibilities-
Create and maintain advanced automation and motion control architectures.

Develop PLC logic from the ground up using Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Allen-Bradley environments.

Configure and resolve issues with multi-axis systems, VFDs, servo drives, and motion controllers.

Help improve overall system precision by integrating robotics, sensors, and machine vision technologies.

Execute machine startup, tuning, and debugging to ensure seamless operational performance.

Draft electrical schematics, control documentation, and CAD drawings to support project design.

Enhance equipment reliability and cycle times to maximize production throughput.

Provide technical support for field service and customer-site troubleshooting as required.

Partner with manufacturing and engineering departments to drive continuous improvement and new equipment development.

Manage industrial communication networks such as Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, and EtherCAT.

Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by ensuring compliance with electrical and machine safety protocols.
Required Qualifications-
A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline is mandatory.

At least five years of professional experience in industrial automation or controls engineering is preferred.

Proficiency in PLC programming using platforms like Siemens, Mitsubishi, or Allen-Bradley is essential.

Proven ability to develop programs from scratch and manage end-to-end machine integration.

Deep technical knowledge of multi-axis automation, motion control, and servo systems.

Demonstrated success in integrating machine vision systems into automated production lines.

Familiarity with various industrial communication protocols is highly valued.

Expertise in CAD software and electrical design principles is required.

Practical experience in debugging, startup, and commissioning of industrial machinery.
