Job Summary
The UAV assembler will assemble, integrate, and complete the final assembly of unmanned aerial vehicles. This position involves building mechanical and electronic components, installing avionics systems, and ensuring each unit meets quality and performance standards.

Duties
- Assemble UAV airframes, motors, propellers, landing gear, sensors, cameras, and other components according to standard operating procedures
- Read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision equipment to complete assemblies
- Install and integrate avionics components, including wiring harnesses, circuit boards, flight controllers, batteries, power systems, GPS modules, and communication equipment
- Route and secure wiring while ensuring proper connections and component placement
- Perform final assembly and verify proper alignment, fit, and functionality of all UAV components
- Install firmware and perform system setup and calibration as required
- Conduct basic functional testing prior to final inspection
- Inspect completed assemblies for quality, accuracy, and compliance with engineering specifications
- Identify and report defects or assembly issues
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines
- Properly handle electronic components, hazardous materials, and tools
- Maintain ESD compliance when working with sensitive electronics
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation
- Assist with other production duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Previous assembly or manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of drones, electronics, aviation, or robotics is a plus
