Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Therapist to join our team. We are hiring immediately for a Licensed Therapist with at least 2 years of prior experience. In this role you will need to be able to write Assessments and Personal Centered Plans. As a Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing patient care and support, conducting diagnostic evaluations, and implementing therapeutic interventions. Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' specific goals and needs
- Provide counseling and therapy sessions to individuals, couples, families, or groups
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a wide range of mental health issues
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure holistic treatment approaches
- Conduct clinical research and stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of therapy
- Provide case management services to assist clients in accessing necessary resources and support systems
- Incorporate dance therapy techniques into treatment plans for clients interested in expressive arts therapy
- Offer counseling services specifically tailored to address gender issues and provide support for LGBTQ+ individuals
- Provide specialized education and support for individuals with autism spectrum disorder
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and interventions for behavioral health concerns
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Proficient in case management practices to ensure continuity of care for clients
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and the ability to apply research findings to practice
- Experience in coding for insurance purposes and maintaining accurate documentation
- Knowledge of dance therapy techniques and their application in therapeutic settings
- Understanding of the unique challenges faced by individuals with autism spectrum disorder and ability to provide appropriate support
