Overview
- We are a trendy coffee shop and restaurant with very high volume and we are looking for a coffee bar manager to lead the front of house staff. This role will be responsible for setting a positive and inviting culture to guests, while balancing tight controls and recipes for staff operations.
Duties
- Lead daily coffee bar operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service during all shifts
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, beverage crafting, POS systems (such as Aloha POS and Micros POS), and customer service standards
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Oversee food handling, safety protocols, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations
- Coordinate with kitchen staff for food production, catering requests
- Implement staff training programs focused on food safety, hospitality excellence, and operational procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2 full years experience in restaurant management or hospitality management.
- Ability to manage shift schedules, supervise staff training & development, and support team performance
- Experience managing tight recipes and training.
- Proven experience in food service management with high volume coffee shop and restaurant environments
- Strong background in coffee experience, barista skills, and beverage preparation techniques
- Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in a hospitality setting
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Knowledge of inventory control methods and food safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally

Pay: $44,000.00 - $58,403.77 per year
