Name Position – Assembler – Class 3
A skilled manufacturing role focused on assembling, wiring, and testing electrical components and systems according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Assembler is a hands-on technician who ensures electrical systems are built correctly, tested thoroughly, and meet strict quality and safety standards, playing a critical role in product reliability and manufacturing efficiency. This is a non-exempt position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary.
· Follow job instructions to assemble cable assemblies from internal drawings and schematics
· Operate hand and power tools such as wire strippers, soldering irons, crimpers, drills, and measuring devices
· Use standard measurement tools to insure proper assembly dimensions
· Perform precise point-to-point wiring, soldering, and crimping to connect components and cables, following wiring diagrams and bill-of-materials
· Build and bundle custom wire harnesses and cable assemblies for integration into larger systems
· Conduct initial quality checks and maintain production logs, noting any deviations or issues
The Ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
- Ability to follow job instructions
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
- Understanding of electrical and electronic principles, component functions, and safety procedures
- Manual dexterity and eye hand coordination to work with small parts
- Ability to use soldering equipment
Education and/or Experience:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year experience in cable assembly
Reports To: Manufacturing Manager
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret internal order documentation
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate basic information such as quantities, lengths and amounts
Reasoning Ability: Ability to follow instructions and procedures

Hiring Process:
This position is being filled on a temporary-to-hire basis through one of our staffing agency partners. Qualified candidates will be introduced to and employed by the staffing agency during the temporary evaluation period. Successful candidates who demonstrate strong performance and meet company expectations may be offered direct employment with the Company.
Salary: The starting range for this position is $18-22 and once an employees can show proficiency in key skill sets, they will be eligible for rate increases.
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
