Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will support teachers in providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment for students. This role is essential in helping to foster the academic, social, and emotional development of children, particularly in settings such as preschool, daycare, or special education.
Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide individualized support to students, including those with special needs.
- Help manage classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among students.
- Supervise children during playtime, ensuring safety and engagement.
- Support the care of infants and toddlers as needed, including diaper changes and feeding.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Participate in training sessions related to first aid, behavior management, and caregiving techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience in nannying, babysitting, or caregiving is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid practices is a plus.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Previous experience working with toddlers or preschool-aged children is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development.
- Ability to adapt to various situations and respond effectively to children's needs.
