Skilled Fabricator / Welder (Structural & Custom)

We build the stuff that matters—tables, platforms, large weldments, and trailers that have to stand up to the real world. We are looking for a Skilled Fabricator who isn't afraid of big steel and complex builds. If you’re the type of person who takes pride in a weld that looks like a stack of dimes and a layout that’s dead-on accurate, KDi is where you belong. The Mission
- Own the Build: Take a project from raw material to finished product. You’ll be responsible for reading complex prints and executing the fabrication, welding, and assembly of custom tables, platforms, large weldments, and trailers.
- Precision is the Standard: You don’t need your hand held. You know your way around measuring tools, you understand specifications, and you ensure every finished part hits the quality bar on the first try.
- Master the MIG: We have the gear—laser cutters, CNC saws, and robotic welders. We need a human operator who knows how to put down clean, strong MIG welds that look as good as they hold.
- Solve the Problem: In our shop, "it won't fit" isn't the end of the conversation—it’s the start of a solution. We need fabricators who Work the Problem and find a way to make it right.
- Safety & Ownership: A messy shop is a slow shop. You maintain your station, keep your tools in top shape, and look out for your teammates because your safety is our bottom line.
Qualifications
- The Experience: 3+ years of hands-on fabrication experience. You’ve been around the block, you know the trade, and you’re ready to bring that expertise to a shop that rewards it.
- Blueprint Fluent: You can look at a print and see the finished product in 3D.
- The "Driver" Mindset: You show up, you hustle, and you take pride in your output. You work well independently but know that the real "wins" happen when the team collaborates.
- Weld Testing: Ability to pass our required weld tests with ease.
- Reliability: You are the person the team can count on, every single day.
