At Holiday Inn Savannah Gateway, we take pride in providing exceptional hospitality and creating a welcoming environment for our guests. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Part Time Maintenance Technician to join our team and help us maintain our high standards of property upkeep and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and painting, to ensure the property remains in excellent condition.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, appliances, and facility systems as needed.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on mechanical systems, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests to ensure safety and comfort.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and inventory usage.
- Monitor and maintain the property's tools, equipment, and supplies to ensure they are in working order.
- Comply with all safety standards and protocols, addressing hazards promptly to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and front desk teams to ensure guest satisfaction through timely service.
- Assist with snow/ice removal, landscaping, and seasonal property maintenance as required.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in maintenance or a related field, preferably in a hospitality or facilities management setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general maintenance practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.
- Certifications: HVAC, EPA, or similar certifications preferred but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Schedule Flexibility: Available to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed.
- Other: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
