Job Overview
Little Greene is a Heritage Paint and Wallpaper company based in Manchester, UK. Having launched a successful sales and distribution programme from Connecticut 3 years ago, we are seeking and exceptional sales manager to further expand our sales team as we continue our commercial growth into the US market.
The role will be home based with extensive travel in their region with the Ideal candidate being based in Philadelphia/ South New Jersey.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in home furnishings/fabrics/ wallcoverings/ paint and has a strong understanding of selling through 3rd party retailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Seek out new business through independent channels with Interior Designers, Interior Design Retail, Wallcoverings and Paint outlets.
- Build and manage a current customer base through customer relationships and sales activities.
- Increase brand awareness in the design community through regular visits, training sessions and events.
- Engage with the professional painter and contractors across the region in order to communicate the benefits of our paints and wallpapers.
- Represent the brand at various market trade shows and events as required.
- Placement and Merchandising of permanent, non-durable sales materials and displays.
- Tracks Sales Activity through regular CRM reporting.
- Communicate with marketing and commercial teams on market activities in order to develop regional strategy.
Requirements- Due to the nature of the position, only candidates with the following qualifications will be considered:
- Strong Sales background with a minimum of 5 years sales experience in the field sales environment.
- Will have experience in sales of high-end interior products (home furnishings/fabrics/ wallcoverings/ paint).
- Ability to manage extensive travel.
Preferences
- Broad knowledge of USA retail and wholesale Paint/ Wallcoverings Industry.
- IT Literate, PowerPoint, Excel & Word.
- CRM proficiency an advantage.
- Current driving license and reliable vehicle.
- Presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication.
- Self-motivated, smart, confident, enthusiastic, team player.

Education Requirements
High School Diploma required, Bachelors level preferred.
