About the Role:
Roth Law Group PLLC is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Workers Compensation Paralegal to join their team in White Plains, NY. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic legal environment, supporting attorneys and making a real difference for injured workers navigating the compensation system.
Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in managing workers' compensation cases from intake through resolution
- Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence with the Workers' Compensation Board
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, and insurance carriers to gather case information
- Maintain and organize case files, deadlines, and hearing schedules using case management software
- Request, review, and summarize medical records and reports relevant to claims
- Prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trials by compiling necessary documentation
- Monitor case statuses and follow up on outstanding items to ensure timely progression
Requirements:
- Prior experience as a paralegal in workers' compensation or personal injury law strongly preferred
- Familiarity with New York Workers' Compensation Board procedures and filings
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Bilingual candidates are a plus
